Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
A 21-bedded-well-equipped-Kalpavruksha has a-21 bedded well-equipped state-of-art NICU. We have a high-end specially designed incubator for caring of very premature & less than 1 kg babies . We have a ventilator capable of ventilating 500 grams of babies. Biliblanket is very effective in reducing jaundice in babies very rapidly. Neonatal transport ventilator incubator is useful for The transfer of tiny sick babies, syringe pumps specially designed to deliver a precise amount of drug. Well-trained staff & round the clock Intensivest help to improve a few outcomes.
Empathetic, experienced staff provide guidance and moral support to mothers of sick babies 24×7. The availability of pharmacies and laboratories make it one of the ideal NICU for care of very sick babies. We have high frequency ventilators and inhaled nitric oxide for treatment of PPHN. This setup provides all neonatal surgical services, including a cardiac surgery hospital, also known for providing services like exchange transfusion and peritoneal dialysis. Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Kalpavruksha Hospital is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for infants, children, and teenagers who become critically ill or injured . A team of highly trained, skilled, and experienced round-the-clock doctors who specialise in intensive care ensure optimum care and management for these children. The PICU designates the highest level of medical care. It differs from other parts of the hospital, like the general medical floors, in that the PICU allows intensive medical and nursing care as well as continuous monitoring of health parameters like heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure.
